Fridaskolan is a private school and preschool with a clear educational concept. Our childrens hours in preschool and school should lead to more than one assessment in the form of a grade. We want to give our children a foundation of value that they have benefited from throughout their lives. When they leave the Fridaskolan, they should not only have good knowledge. They must also have confidence in their own abilities, retain curiosity and understand what it means to actively participate in and contribute to the development of a democratic society.
The basis for a positive development is a school environment that stimulates and encourages learning. That is why we attach great importance to creating a climate where all our children and young people feel security, respect and community. Then we can contribute to strengthening the self-esteem of children and young people and their willingness to learn, develop and take responsibility - during their time at Fridaskolan, but also during the rest of their lives. Fridaskolan is located in Mölnlycke outside Gothenburg. Here we are close to both forest, lakes and town. The school has both preschool, primary school, secondary school and high school. From autumn 2020, Fridaskolan also has upper secondary schools in the same building. Number of children in preschool: 80 Number of children in school: 590 In this Erasmus project it is the preschool that participates. Swedish preschool has a long tradition of being outside all year-round, and a large part of the educational activity is located outdoors. The Mölnlycke Fridaskolan has the privilege of having the forest just around the corner where we often spend time for learning. |
